ZEPT additionally provides hybrid solutions. These solutions have the flexibility to operate in both open and closed loop. This provides a flexibility of operation in low alkaline waters as well as the open ocean.

The system can be operated in zero discharge mode for a limited period and when at sea can be switched to open loop using only sea water.
